Dear Principals of eminent schools/colleges,
It is my immense pleasure to invite your prestigious institution to Eureka International, 2018, a cultural and literary extravaganza, organized by City Montessori School, Anand Nagar Campus, Lucknow, India.
The Anand Nagar campus humbly boasts of being a part of City Montessori School family, which consists of 19 other campuses and together the 20 have unassailably secured a place in the Guinness Book of World Records for being the largest pupils populated school in a single city with over 50,000 students enrolled, an extra ordinary feat considering its humble beginning with 05 children in 1959.
The City Montessori chain of schools has been a forerunner in promoting world peace and unity through the motto of ‘Jai Jagat’ or ‘Glory to the World’ under the kind flagship of the CMS Founders, Dr Jagdish Gandhi and Dr Bharti Gandhi who strongly believe in the philosophy of ‘Vasudhaiv Kutumbakam’ or ‘the Earth is but One Country and Mankind its Citizens’.
The inception of the City Montessori School, Anand Nagar Campus dates back to the year 1969 and ever since it has aged with time and progressed to give meaningful education a new definition. The campus caters to the academic requirements of students from class Montessori to VIII and has successfully carved a niche in the achievements attributed to schools of good standing.
Since its humble beginning in 2005, competitions at Eureka have been formulated to sensitize the young towards global issues of great importance and instill a sense of understanding and compassion for others and create the courage to act on one’s belief.
Haunted by traumatic conditions prevalent in the world today wherein millions of children are living in despicable and appalling conditions of deprivation and want, suffering under the blitz of apathy and negligence and desirous of contributing to its prophylactic process, we at CMS, Anand Nagar have thoughtfully based our biennial event on the theme ‘Child Rights’ underpinned by our belief that “ Every child is potentially the light of the world, a gift of God to mankind and pride of the human race”.
The four-day meet from 25th to 28th November, 2018 unfurls a panorama of events for students of Primary and Junior classes and provides a suitable platform for international exposure.
The team of participants must consist of five students from the Primary (Classes III to V) and five from Junior Section (Classes VI to VIII), accompanied by two teacher-in-charges, who will be the team leader and deputy team leader for this group. We will be providing free board, lodging and local conveyance to all out-station and international teams.
I wish to extend a special invitation to the Principals of the participating institutions to grace the occasion as our Guest of Honour.
We look forward to the active participation of your institution in Eureka International 2018 as it is a unique opportunity for children to spend time and compete with a multicultural and multilingual group that will certainly broaden their horizon and will be a great learning experience for each one. Let’s together make a difference in the life of children and make this world a better place.
