The two live phone-in programs, 'Sehat ki baat Doctor ke saath', and 'Sanware Dhara Nikhare Paryavaran'; to this day they are relevant.

'Sehat ki baat Doctor ke saath', which we broadcast live every Sunday, is a program wherein we have a dedicated audience who demand specialists for their keen understanding of society-related health issues. Thanks to our dedicated environmentalist Acharya Chandra Bhushan Tiwari, a well-known activist in the field of environment protection and conservation, the live phone-in program “Sanware Dhara Nikhare Paryavaran” is not only educating thousands of listeners but also turning them to become campaigners of environment safety and protection.

Chalk Mouse aur Tum

Under this project CMS Community Radio shares information related with NEP, relevant social & cultural issues. Major World & International Days & Issues are also covered in our Chalk Mouse Aur Tum project through live phone in & recorded programmes. This programme is aired live every Monday @ 9 am from CMS CR Station, Gomti Nagar Campus I.

Community Visits

Visit to Govt Girls' Inter College, Gomti Nagar for recording program on World menstrual hygiene day, 28 May 2023 in collaboration with UNICEF where Ms. Anshu Singh, nodal teacher for MHM along with students participated with full enthusiasm. WASH Officer Mr. Kumar Bikram concluded the program with expert byte.

Visit to “Millet Mela” on 28 March 2023 and coordinated with Asst. Commissioner Food Safety, Lucknow for giving his expert byte the very next day in the program “Community ke rang community ke sang”.

Coverage of Filaria Program on 10 Feb 2023 at village Gwari and the recordings were later played in the programme “Swasth Tan Man Khushhaal Jeevan” based on SDG Goal 3

SDG Programmes

CMS Community Radio representatives participated in a 2-day Radio Fair held in New Delhi in 2019 wherein they were introduced to SDG 2025 Agenda. This initiated efforts on:

1. Zero Huger - where through talk shows with specialists extensive programs on Malnutrition & Nutrition are carried out regularly.
2. Good Health -Is the Live phoe-in programme 'Sehat ki baat'.
3. Gender Equality -Building awareness through the program 'Hinsa Ko No' where victims are identified followed by extensive sessions with them in rebuilding confidence.
4. Life on Land-Agenda 15.4 addressing wildlife, there exists a running program called,” Humara Prani Jagat”.
5. Quality Education - 'Global Dream ki Paasthshala' is a dedicated program for children.

Chalti Rahein
Based on Traffic Awareness

Through this programme we share all the important updates during route diversions. Traffic updates and news are the special attraction of this programme. Special Traffic events are also covered in this programme. Changes in the Schedule of trains and buses are also shared in our Chalti Rahein programme. This programme is aired every Sunday from CMS CR Station, Gomti Nagar Campus I @7:45am & 8:20 am.

After attending Media Workshops, CMS Community Radio has embarked on activities on Filaria, Malaria, TB, and Vaccination, through

1. Talk to experts by inviting them to the studio.
2. Visiting primary health centers.
3. Feedback from our audience.

SEHAT KI BAAT DOCTOR KE SAATH

This Pogramme is aired every Sunday from CMS CR Station, Gomti Nagar Campus I at 9 am. Doctors from the Government department are channelized accordingly. During the Covid period we did some live phone in programmes from the studio and few working from home.

Social Impact

Live Phone in - Community Ke Rang Community Ke Sang

Through this project we make our listeners aware about relevant social issues, e.g. Swachchhta drive by Nagar Nigam, Lucknow, Rainwater harvesting. Listeners share their views on such issues as well as listen to their favourite songs (recorded by CMS Teachers & FM Staff). This live phone in programme is aired every Wednesday @9:10am from CMS CR Station, Gomti Nagar Campus I.

A listener named Satyanarayan from Etawah connected through live phone in program Maati Ke Geet. He is a regular listener of our channel since last six years and was connected via CMS-CRS app. He visited us recently and gifted us with mangoes picked from his own mango grove, grown organically. He said he was inspired towards organic farming by listening to ourprograms on such topics.

CMS Community Radio will be initiating a radio series in association with the Ministry of Women and Child Development encompassing schemes viz, Supplementary Nutrition, Pre-School Non-Formal Education, Nutrition and Health Education, Immunization, Health Check-Up, and Referral Services.
