Young delegates of 13 countries, participating in the International Children's Camp being hosted by CMS, presented a grand cultural feast of music and dance on 19 January at CMS Kanpur Road auditorium. Chief Guest Hon’bleShri Keshav Prasad Maurya, Deputy Chief Minister of U.P. inaugurated the function by lighting the lamp of unity, peace and friendship. Young delegates of 13 countries viz Italy, Mexico, Japan, Sweden, Finland, Norway, Germany, America, Brazil, Canada, Costa Rica, Thailand and India presented a galaxy of folk dances and music of their respective countries. This is the 25th CISV International Camp hosted by CMS with the aim to bring the children nurtured under different cultures, languages, traditions and Customs together for a month long camp and instil the sentiments of brotherhood, world peace and fraternity in their tender hearts.

CMS students offered scholarships by American Universities

Ayushi Garg, student of CMS Aliganj Campus I, has been offered admission with scholarship by four American universities. She has been offered US$12000 per annum by the University of Cincinaati; US$10000 per annum by the Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago; US$ 8000 per annum by the Colorado State University and US$12000 per annum by the University of Massachusetts. Another student, Ibrahim Kamal of CMS Mahanagar Campus has been offered a scholarship of US$108000 for four years by the prestigious Drexel University of USA.

CMS alumnus, Major Aditya Vikram Singh (1st Mechanized Infantry), was honoured with the prestigious Sena Medal for his exemplary bravery by General Bipin Rawat, Chief of Army Staff on the occasion of Army Day on 15th January 2018 at Delhi. His relentless will coupled with exceptional courage led to the elimination of two terrorists and apprehension of two others on 14th December 2016.

Anshika Raj, Gaurav Singh Sayana and Urvashi Singh have been awarded Dr Ambedkar National Merit Award for their academic excellence by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Govt. of India. Anshika Raj, a meritorious student of CMS Rajajipuram Campus I, has been awarded a cash prize of Rs. 50,000/‐ and a certificate of merit for her stupendous performance in the ISC (Class XII), examination. Gaurav Singh Sayana of CMS Mahanagar Campus has been awarded a cash prize of Rs. 50,000/‐ and a certificate of merit for his outstanding performance in the ISC (Class XII), examination and Urvashi Singh of CMS Mahanagar Campus has been awarded a cash prize of Rs. 20,000/‐ and a certificate of merit for her brilliant performance in the ISC examination.

CMS students offered scholarships by American Universities

Principal of CMS Kanpur Road Campus Dr Vineeta Kamran has been nominated the member of the Academic Committee of National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) under the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India. Dr Kamran has been nominated for this prestigious post for her massive experience, dissemination of meaningful and quality education across the country and her untiring efforts to make students 'Total Quality Person.'

CMS students offered scholarships by American Universities

Sonakshi Verma, an alumna of CMS Aliganj Campus I topped in girls' category in Bihar Public Service Commission (Judiciary). Sonakshi has received her entire schooling at CMS Aliganj Campus I and had a brilliant academic record. It may be mentioned that in the year 2017, four CMS students successfully cleared the in UP PCS (J) exam. They were, Swarangi Shukla of CMS Gomti Nagar Campus I (Rank 1st); Ambika Mehrotra of CMS Mahanagar Campus (Rank 39th); Akansha Bajpai of CMS Kanpur Road Campus (Rank 86th) and Shaleen Mishra of CMS Mahanagar Campus (Rank 75th).

ACHIEVERS ALL THE WAY

Aarav Srivastava of Class V, CMS Anand Nagar campus, won the championship trophy in Regional Abacus Competition organized under the aegis of educational institute Brain O'Brain.

Mithika Dwivedi of Class VIII, CMS Aliganj Campus I, won the second prize in singing competition at U.P. Manotsava 2017. The event was organized by Pragiti Paryawaran Sanrakshan Trust.

Anubhav Singh of Class IX, CMS Indira Nagar Campus, won the first prize in R.K. Shukla Memorial Inter Collegiate Chess Championship organized by BSNV PG College, Lucknow.

Campus won prizes in the District Roller Skating Road Racing Championship organized by Seth Anand Ram Jaipuria School, Alambagh. Ivaan Hussain won the gold medal, Umee Farwa won the silver medal and Pragya Yadav and Isha Hussain won the gold medal, Umee Farwa won the silver medal and Pragya Yadav and Insha Hussain won the bronze medal.

Six students of CMS Kanpur Road Campus namely Vipul Krishna of Class XII, Shivansh Dixit, Santosh Prajapati and Rajat Singh of Class XI and Nanishk Verma and Paras Mishra of Class IX participated in the U‐19 C.K. Naidu National Cricket Tournament held at Indore.


Two students of CMS Kanpur Road Campus namely Prince Maurya of Class VIII and Nisesh Singh of Class IX participated in U‐17 Vinu Makkad Tournament 2017‐18 organized by School Games Federation of India at Mumbai. The team was the second runner‐up in India. Prince Maurya was declared the best bowler in this tournament. He took 15 wickets in 4 matches.

Kindergarten Kids of of CMS Chowk Campus won the first prize in group singing at Kids Fest organized by St. Teresa's Day School, Lucknow. The team comprized Amrah Zoni, Ivan, Innama, Vidushi, Shreshtha, Zoha, Nashrah, Rushil and Shaurya. Another team comprising Aanya, Andleeb, Vaishnavi, Takreem, Anushka, Pratyush, Md. Kabeer, Mohd. Kashif, Tahoora, Brahmansh, Wali Abbas, Mohd Armaan and Priyanshi won the third prize in reading competition.

Sankalp Saxena of Class II, CMS Anand Nagar Campus, participated in the National Mega Final of WIZ National Spell Bee 2016‐17 organized by Wiz National Spell Bee at South City International School, Kolkata and secured 26th Rank. He was awarded with a certificate and trophy.


Karan Aditya of CMS RDSO Campus won a gold medal in State level Inter‐school Brain O'Brain Wonderkids Competition bringing kudos to the institution.
