|"Success is not the result of a spontaneous combustion. You must first set yourself on fire."
Education should be such, that acknowledges, that man is a mine rich in gems of inestimable value and the purpose of education is to draw out the hidden gems from within each child, to visualize the gem in the rock and to polish each piece until it each shines like a gem.Imparting education using ground-breaking feature - rich and portable Interactive Whiteboard Technology and Tata Class Edge have enliven subject teaching.
The Campus received appreciation from The Paryavaran Mitra Puraskar 2013 in recognition of the exemplary work done in Environment Education and Education for sustainable development. Our Campus was awarded with an 'Appreciation Certificate' under the Best School Category of Paryavaran Mitra Puraskar. The students of our campus under the able guidance of the Environmental Coordinator of the Campus, Ms. Sonali Choudhury, are headstrong on nurturing a pollution-free environment.
Our Campus was awarded the State Gold by the Adhyayan Quality Standard (Validity from December 2013 – December 2015).
The session was welcomed with the training of the teachers in Planning and Display which was successfully incorporated /implemented by the teachers in the Campus.
The students of this campus not only excel in academic pursuits but also in sports and other co-curricular activities.Plethora of opportunities comes to the students in the form of Model Class Presentation, inter-house competitions, international events and Open Day celebrations where they can display their talent. The students get chance to participate in a range of activities where they do not need to be the best to be valued.
One of the biggest achievements of the branch was organizing meaningful, purposeful, beautiful, grand and spectacular 17th International Computer Olympiad COFAS (Computer Fair & Seminar) and truly portraying the farsighted vision of CMS for welfare of present and future generations of children.
In the modern day world, computer has become integral part of students and professionals in all fields. Students have great interest to learn all the technological advancements in computer education and its unaccountable uses. This event gave an amazing and international level platform to CMS teams to share mutual knowledge about computer with Indian and foreign delegates from Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Jordan. Students got opportunity not only to show their computer related skills but also to update their knowledge by learning latest advancements from each other.
There was one more important purpose of organizing this event with participation from students coming from all over the world. The purpose was to enable them to share and learn about each other's culture. Children need to learn to appreciate and embrace diversity even more than they appreciate sameness. The diversity of the human race makes the world more beautiful. Diversity allows for creative growth and inquiry. Unity in diversity is an expression of unity without uniformity and diversity without fragmentation. Global understanding must go a step beyond academic appreciation to experiencing diversity. International exchanges and diverse school communities are a wonderful ways to have children appreciate the good in the 'other' from the earliest age.
Our students are our biggest assets. Mst. Utkarsh Srivastava participated in Geofest International 2014 organized by City Montessori Inter College, Rajajipuram Campus I and was awarded Third prize in National Geographic Olympiad.
One of the moments of the glory for the campus was it being awarded an "Apple I-Pad in the 'Teaching Moment in 2014' Competition prize by TES Connect. Our campus was the only school from India to have been awarded this most prestigious prize. This was possible because of the able guidance of Mr. V. Kurian , Head Computer and Multimedia Department, Mrs. Surabhi Srivastava , I.T Training Officer and Ms. Anjali Gupta, I.T Assistant (Branch).
I am grateful to the Almighty for the blessings, he has bestowed on us. I wish to acknowledge my incredible staff's positive attitude which has a terrific influence on the working of the institution. Their effort continues to help things run smoothly, and I really appreciate their support. None of these achievements would have been possible without our students, their zeal to excel in every endeavour has made them set new benchmarks in academics and other co-curricular activities. I am deeply indebted indebted to the revered parents and grandparents of our students for having faith in us and providing us with unconditional support at all times.
Inspired by the zeal of our Respected Founder-Manager Dr. Jagdish Gandhi, our Founder-Director Dr. Bharti Gandhi, we seek to respond to the challenges of the modern world by imparting Material and Divine education and thereby, Making every child the light of the world.
