Believing firmly in the above words of Dalai Lama, we in our school made all out efforts to steer our students towards newer challenges and aspirations. Our very dedicated team of teachers converted every opportunity into learning experiences for students.
With the blessings of the Almighty, in academics, our success journey continued. Our ISC section, with 475 students taking the examination, did us proud by scoring a whopping 91.6% average score, the best in the state and third at National Level. Prakhar Lohumi and Ankur Verma with 98.75% secured the second position in the national merit list. In ICSE, too the average score was the second best in the state. Our school was once again ranked as the best Co-ed day school of the state and also number one in ‘Academic Reputation’ and ‘leadership and management’ at the national level. All this was possible due to the untiring efforts of the teachers across all sections.
I would like to mention here and heartily congratulate - Mr. Athar Qureshi and Mr.Anil Srivastava from the ISC Section and Mrs.Kiran Rizvi from the ICSE section for being declared “the best Teachers “amongst all CMS teachers for their outstanding board results. One more small but significant achievement was our class VIII result being the best amongst all campuses this year.
This year was a year of unprecedented success in Robotics – the team comprising Hemant, Saurabh,Vijay and Srajit, led by Mr Siddiq and Mr Srivastava won the grand second prize in the University of Waterloo, Canada and also the second prize in QUANTA International.
The first ever CMS-MUN, truly a student initiative, hosted by us with great fanfare and participation of 340 delegates from 17 schools was a huge success. This year we also organised IYMC, Mathematica, which saw participation of 75 teams from 18 countries.
Our community connect initiative – “We care” progressed in a big way. Each class adopted an orphanage or an old home and paid visits, carrying gifts, eatables and utility items for the inmates. Following the footsteps of their seniors, the class XII students very enthusiastically carried on the “Everyone Grows” programme, teaching the underprivileged students from the vicinity.
Eight of our students have already got offers from various top ranking universities of the world. My best wishes to these students and many more who will follow soon.
With deep gratitude I would like to acknowledge, the dedication and sustained efforts of all those who have been playing an integral part in the growth of this great institution. My sincere thanks to Ma’am Batra, for her constant guidance and support. I would also like to thank Dr.Jagdish Gandhi, Dr Bharti Gandhi, Dr.Geeta Kingdon and the Head QAID Mrs Susmita Basu for their unflinching support.
Best wishes to all my promising students, ever-supporting parents and dedicated teachers for the forthcoming session.
