CMS, Aliganj (I) Campus has weaved its way to success and excellence. The philosophy of ‘Jai Jagat’ has been the guiding principle behind all the school activities in the campus. The very experienced and dedicated staff works hard to provide meaningful education, spiritual direction and leadership to the students. We try to foster in our students the feeling of co- existence and mutual respect.
The campus produced one of the best results in the ISC and ICSE board Examinations, 2016. Among the top 100 ISC Affiliated Quality schools of India, we have secured the 4th rank at the National level and 3rd rank in Lucknow. Out of 339 students who appeared in ISC – 2016, a whooping 193 have scored 90% and above marks. Out of 404 students who appeared in ICSE -2016, 138 have scored 90% and above marks . We have 2 ICSE toppers among the top 10 national ranks – Gaurang Tandon (5th position) and Nimish Mishra (7th position). Arjun Bajpai of class XII secured the 6th National Rank with an aggregate of 98.5%. In ISC we have 13 students in the council merit list.We have obtained the highest overall in Biotechnology, English and Hindi. In the First Comparative Exams - 2016, in the ISC section, Ananya Shukla and Palak Singhal have secured the 5th and 7th positions resp. In the ICSE section - Ayush Soni , Ritvij Kumar Sharma and Sanya Dikshit secured the 2nd , 6th and 8th positions resp.
It is a matter of great privilege that a team of Aliganj1 students under the leadership of Mrs.Seema Hitkari & Mrs.Beena Tyagi went to Mauritius to attend the’ International Convention of Students Quality Control Circle’ (ICSQCC),2016 organized by the Mauritian society of Quality control from 19th - 23rd July, 2016.They have brought back many special prizes. A group of students under the leadership of Mrs.Rashmi Sharma and Mrs. Divya Mehta Shard got an opportunity to participate in the International Mathematics Olympiad (IMC-2016) held at Chiangmai city of Thailand from 14-20th August-2016.It was an enriching experience for all!
Vishrut Trivedi of class 11-D of Aliganj-1campus has been awarded the 2nd Runners'up trophy and a cheque of 2.5 lakhs for his commendable performance in OJASVITA INDIAN SPIRITUAL ICON ,powered by UNIBIC, organised at Mumbai ,sponsored by Shri Shri Ravi Shankar.
Utkarsh Shukla ,a class 12 student of Aliganj 1 campus till last year, is playing soccer in Barcelona for the Marcet Academy .He would be shortly playing in the Junior League in Spain . Rajul Gupta, an alumnus of Aliganj branch is currently working for City Bank in Singapore . He has secured the 3rd spot in the World Finals of much acclaimed Hackathon Contest ‘ Battle Hack’ . Shivam Saxena, an alumnus has received an offer of a staggering 32 lakhs per annum for a leading Japanese Firm “Work Applications”. 2 out of 5 students of class 10 selected in the State level National Talent Search Examination are from CMS,Aliganj1 campus. Prachi Bajpai of 2015-16 batch of Aliganj 1 campus has achieved a landslide success by securing the 3rd position in Lucknow &174th position at the all India level in the NEET medical entrance examination, 2016.
16 CMS Aliganj students have won Government of India scholarship for being in the top 1% of all performers in their ISC exam board of March 2016 and each of these will get Rs. 80,000 per annum for five years for higher education. The students who scored exceptionally high marks in the ISC, 2016 were presented a cheque of Rs 30,000 each.This prestigious event, an important step towards Empowering Women was organised on 17.8.16 at the Sant Gadgeji Maharaj auditorium, Sangeet Natak Academy, Lucknow. The top scorers- Abhinav Giri,Rishabh Srivastava,Amrita Bhattacharya,Samreen Khan, Purva Bajpai & Sagarika Pandey from 2013-14 batch have also been honoured by the U.P. CM ,honourable Mr. Akhilesh Yadav with a memento, a certificate and a demand draft of Rs.2000 each.
Manas Dixit has bagged the bronze medal at the International Finance Olympiad co-organized by the Bombay Stock Exchange Ltd.
Yash Sanjeev was selected in the Regional Mathematical Olympiad out of a total of 10 students selected from Lucknow. Prakhar Vats has been selected for admission to the University of Leeds , UK. Shikhar Singh Verma and Suryansh Vikram Singh have been selected on a Scholarship of Euro 6000 per annum and Euro 8000 per annum resp. to the University College of Dublin, Ireland.
Many students are volunteering and working for the literacy campaign “Each one-Teach one”- A step towards eradicating illiteracy. The animators of Junior Youth Empowerment Program (JYEP) are conducting important activities like Tutorials (for the juniors taught by the seniors),computer literacy campaign for the janitorial staff, reducing Disaster risk, Disaster management. They distribute Pamphlets, write on old T-shirts, conduct radio shows, perform street plays to sensitize the students and spread awareness to serve the society better. We are using educational technology in our campus with a vision to offer new ways of classroom learning. It has engaged children in new ways particularly benefitting the learning of the relatively more passive students. We have 123 Interactive White Boards that is each class has an Interactive White Board as well as learning content from Tata Interactive Services. Our campus has been equipped with Wi-Fi internet access. Teachers’ IT-training programs are being run throughout the year to help the staff become adept in educational technologies.
We were acknowledged for our innovative teaching methodologies by the Adhyayan Committee, CMS Aliganj-I received 2nd prize in “Excellence in Use of Digital Technologies” by the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Mangalaytan University. Our campus has actively participated in the Face to Faith video conferences of Tony Blair Foundation, UK in which they tackle misconceptions about religious faiths and cultures. We have been holding SAT & German classes on a regular basis. We have regular career counselling sessions in our Campus to enable students to go for the right career options. Workshops on Critical Thinking were conducted by Mr.Roger Kingdon, an expert from London.
We have qualified for the NATIONAL level matches to be held in Hyderabad . Aliganj 1 campus has won the Zonal football tournament in the Junior &Senior categories. We have secured the runners' up position in the District league .The Basketball team has won the Interbranch Basketball tournament in the Junior& Senior Categories. Our Badminton team has qualified for the National level tournament in the Junior &Senior categories after winning a gold at the ASISC Zonal badminton tournament, our girls -Sadiya (cls11), Kavya (class 6)&Suhani&Aishika (class 7)became Silver medalists in the ASISC Regional tournament (UP&UTTARAKHAND) held on 27th&28th aug, '16 in Dehradun. Mr.Ivon Ajeet Singh is their mentor.
We have pledged to devote ourselves for the transformation of the society. We organize the International Festival of Music , Art and Dance ‘CELESTA’ which provides a global platform for the creative outpour of students. This year amongst the participating Teams we had 4 International ,24 National&19 Local teams. Our esteemed judges of the various events –Choir, Choreography, Traditional group dance ,Orchestra, Art& Collage had a tough time deciding which would be the winning team. We witnessed Perfection &Finesse in all the participants!
We are fortunate enough to have an infrastructure that caters to our needs. We are working on a war footing to conserve water and energy resources and keep our surroundings clean to contribute our bit for the “Swachch Bharat Campaign”, the initiative which was taken by our Honourable Prime Minister, Sri Narendra Modi. Aliganj 1 campus has been presented the SAVE FOOD AMBASSADOR AWARD for our exemplary efforts &invaluable contribution in being FOODWISE&preventing any type of food wastage in our campus.The award was presented by Prithvi innovations in partnership with Regional science centre. We pledge to continue with our efforts!
