| Four students namely Arjun, Vaibhav, Shantanu Sinha and Nimesh achieved success in 'Earthquake Quiz Contest' organized by National Information Centre of Earthquake Engineering, IIT Kanpur. Now these achievers of CMS will be attending the next round of this contest on 7 February 2011 at IIT Kanpur. |

| CMS students get the best speaker and the best team award in inter-school declamation competition |

Lucknow, 29 September : The outstanding students of City Montessori School, Station Road campus won the best speaker and the best team award under senior category in inter-school declamation competition organized under the aegis of ASISC (UP & Uttarakhand) and brought laurels to the institution. Mr Hari Om Sharma, Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS informed. Mr Sharma informed that in Zone-B, senior category, the talented student of CMS Station Road campus, Arjun, won the best speaker award and the CMS Station Road team won the best team award. Now the team will be participating in the state level contest after this zonal level competition. Mr Sharma said that the excellent students of CMS Station Road campus impressed the judges of the event and others with their logical presentation and also proved that they have the prowess to win laurels for the country as well.
Mr Sharma said that CMS recognizes the importance of scientific age, hence it endeavours seriously to develop scientific and global outlook in its students which help CMS students in reaching new highs in national and international contests. CMS organizes 32 international competitions in Science, Maths, English, Computer Science, Robotics, Astronomy, Music, Sports etc. throughout the year to chisel the skills of students and give the opportunity to national and international students to explore their excellence on one global forum. These events provide an international arena to the students and instil self-confidence in them. Due to this the intelligent and skilled students of CMS are raising the school's flag high on the international scene. |

| Talents outpour at Kids Bonanza-2011 |

| Parents were thrilled to witness the talents of children at the two-day Inter-school Kids Bonanza for Fun and Learning organized by CMS Station Road at CMS Kanpur Road auditorium on 26 and 27 September. Around 1800 pre-primary children representing 33 schools participated in a series of exciting contests at this Bonanza. |

| Symphony of Peace Prayers organized at CMS Station Road
in the presence of leaders of all major religions |

CMS joined hands with the Symphony of Peace Prayers (SOPP), a worldwide network of people, connecting to the Fuji Sanctuary in Japan on 22 May to resonate across the planet a wave of infinite peace, joy, hope and healing. The programme was held at CMS Station Road. Father Quadris, Principal St Dominic School, Maulana Mohd. Mushtaq, Secretary Islamic Centre, Swami Pararupananda from Ramakrishna Math, Pragyanandji from the Boudh sect, Gyani R S Bagga from UP Punjabi Academy, Shri Shailendra Jain from the Jain religion were present. |

| CMS student selected for
World Geography Championship - 2011 |

| Nimesh Saxena of CMS Station Road campus has been selected for the final round of 'Geography World Championship-2011' to be held in San Francisco, USA. Nimesh was selected after qualifying in the tough competitions on district, state and national level. On this glorious achievement of CMS student, the Rotary Club also felicitated him with a Rs. 20,000/- cheque. |
