Being chosen as Head Boy of CMS Rajajipuram II was a great honour for me and when the badge was presented, my heart swelled in pride and I firmly resolved to live up to the high hopes and expectations of my Principal, teachers and fellow students.
Life offers challenges and when we make them our opportunities then there is no limit to our achievements. The year was full of activities and different competitions. Morning Prayer assemblies, Inter-House Elocution, Reading, Speech, Dance, Painting competitions were held to boost the confidence and polish the oratory skills of the students.
A five member delegation was led to South Korea by our Principal, Mrs Aruna Naidu and teacher Mrs Anupama Checker to participate in the International Mathematics Olympiad 2010 and the children got international exposure along with the feeling of global unity.
The Independence Day was celebrated with great nationalistic fervour with an enthusiastic participation of all the students in various dance, speeches, skits and patriotic songs. Teachers Day was celebrated amidst much fun and frolic to show our love and affection for our teachers.
The year has been very eventful and would not have been so smooth, had it not been the efforts of all the students. I, therefore, extend a hearty thanks to all the students for their endeavours and undying support and my deep felt thanks to the panel of other office bearers who have helped me to maintain discipline and fair working of the different organs of the school.
I would like to express my sincere gratitude to my teachers and our Principal, Mrs Aruna Naidu, for their constant encouragement, guidance and support. The loving and sweet memories of my dear institution will always remain engraved in my heart and mind.
