CMS Kanpur Road Branch

As the session 2003-2004 draws to a close, I am filled with a sense of achievement and accomplishment. I acknowledge the great work done by my teachers who have left no stone unturned in guiding the students to excel in all endeavours. Our students did exceedingly well in academics and came out with flying colours. Ankit Sinha topped the Inter Branch Merit List with an aggregate of 97.5%.

The year was marked with successful organization of 3 day long Educational Technology Development Programme for building Total Quality People which was attended by 89 renowned principals, managers and administrators from all over the country and also from Nepal & Bangladesh .

It was a matter of pride and honour for the branch to send 3 delegations abroad comprising of teachers and students to participate in International Convention on Quality Control Circles at Mauritius , Bangkok and Bangladesh .
Two major events organised by CMS Kanpur Road to promote peace and harmony among nations were the Indo-Pak friendly Hockey Match played between Habib Public School of Pakistan and CMS Kanpur Road and the Chief Justice’s Conference which brought Justices and peace promoters on a common platform.

The Quality Circle concept is a novel philosophy of participative culture in schools and has been pioneered quite successfully by the branch and in this regard itself a keynote address was delivered at the Conference on Information Technology and Improvement in Education at Turkey .
'International Convention on Quality Control Circles at Dhaka was organised by Bangladesh Society for Total Quality Management under the aegis of CMS Kanpur Road Branch.

With an aim to spread harmony Kiri Atri a student of XI accompanied Mr. Jagdish Gandhi to London who was invited by Peace Direct a British NGO to deliver a series of lectures.

In the end, I take this opportunity to thank my staff and parents for their relentless support and cooperation in the progress of the branch.
