CMS Indira Nagar glows in the benign presence of its most talented and gracious Principal Mrs Abha Anant. Her sincere commitment to duty and total dedication to the noble cause of education recommended her to take charge of this ICSE campus which was earlier nurtured by the capable hands of Mrs Bonita Joel. This year the World Peace Festival was combined with the Annual Sports Day. Parents were thrilled to watch their students perform on stage and on the field. Earlier, she had been organizing an International Cultural and Literary event 'Eureka' and now she is organizing the World Peace Festival with the same spirit of earnestness and dedication. The institution is justly proud of this rare gem and parents feel happy to place their trust on her responsible shoulders. May all her efforts be crowned with success.
As I look back at the previous session, I feel satisfied that we inculcated in our students the concept of holistic education aimed at overall development of children. Children took part and excelled in many curricular and co-curricular activities while focusing on their academic pursuits. We strongly believe that education must be personalized and aimed at motivating every child.
The New Parents Morning, this year, was an endeavour on our part, to Good Parenting. Raising a happy, healthy child is one of the most challenging jobs today and yet one of the most rewarding. The World Peace Festival was also a huge success with posters coming in from numerous local, national and international schools. We organized our Annual Sports Day alongwith the Peace Festival and parents enjoyed watching the colourful PT display and races.
The Creative Writing Workshop organized at the Campus witnessed an enthusiastic participation by the students. The humanitarian projects are a regular feature. We try our best to make our children realize that what we leave behind is not what is engraved in stone monuments, but what is woven into the lives of others.
I would like to extend a hearty thanks to the parents for their unflinching support and to my staff for their dedication and willingness to co-operate, that made every activity in school a true team work.
I also express my gratitude to our Founders, Dr Jagdish Gandhi and Dr Bharti Gandhi for their motivation and help and for their faith in our capabilities. They have always made us realize that action springs not from thoughts, but from a readiness to accept responsibility. |

Indeed as the year draws to a close, we look back at all our successful endeavours; victories and defeats; adulation and criticisms; and find that they have come together and made for us an unforgettable journey and a most memorable experience. We cherish our dreams and visions as they are the blueprints of our ultimate success. Dream we did and we spent this year turning our dreams into reality.
As a result, the Branch once again produced cent percent ICSE results. All 67 students who appeared for ICSE passed with first division marks. 16 students secured 90% and above marks.
Despite limited infrastructure, we seek to provide a nurturing environment to our students that encourages them to discover and use their intellectual and creative potential; to rely on their own judgement and initiative and to develop an awareness as to how to perform better. We try our best to teach the students that achievement is an honest endeavour, a persistent effort to do the best possible under any and all circumstances.
The teachers and staff of the Branch strive endlessly to identify individual talent and help students to find interest and success. I recall with immense gratitude the support and cooperation of the parents in our journey and solicit the same in the future as relentless cooperation from parents is a perennial source of encouragement for us.
I also express my heartfelt gratitude to our Respected Founders, Dr (Mrs) Bharti Gandhi and Dr Jagdish Gandhi who have made us believe that small acts, when multiplied by millions of people, can transform the world. As we express our gratitude, we never forget that highest appreciation is not to just utter words, but to live by them. |
