| CMS Gomti Nagar provides excellent facilities, committed teachers and has always been emphasizing on character formation, personality development, academic excellence, physical and mental growth. The Branch was established in 1991 with classes upto VIII. Today it has over 6000 students with classes from Montessori up to XII. This year a New Building has been inaugurated at Gomti Nagar, Virat Khand. The campus is well furnished with modern Laboratories, Libraries, Robotics lab, a well equipped Gymnasium, Playground, spacious classrooms with audio video facilities, huge Auditorium and a special classroom in each section with interactive White Boards which are hard laminated digital boards of different dimensions that have touch screen functionality and innovative features that improve the method of teaching, training and presenting information. |

| Academic Achievements |

| In ICSE Board Examinations 2010, out of 357 students, 124 students secured 90% and above marks. Rahul Trivedi topped amongst all CMS campuses with an aggregate of 97.6% marks. In ISC Board Examination 2010, out of 394 students, 152 scored 90% and above marks. Faraz Khan topped the Campus merit list with 97.5% marks. 8 students of the Branch, namely, Abhijeet Krishna, Akash Gupta, Anant Kumar Singh, Kushal Kumar, Pankaj Kumar Yadav, Parul Srivastava, Rishabh Sharma, Yash Kumar, presently in Class IX, were selected for the prestigious National Talent Search Examination Scholarship 2010 conducted by NCERT, New Delhi. Lakshya Sharma won a gold medal and a laptop in 9th National Cyber Olympiad organized by the Science Olympiad Foundation. |

| Anushree won the first prize in poster making contest at National Science Day celebrations at Birbal Sahni Institute of Palaeobotany, Lucknow. Vrinda Chawla and Twinkle Chawla won third prize at Cicero's Challenge 2010 organised by IIPM, Lucknow qualifying for the national round to be held in New Delhi. Anupam Tiwari won the second prize in flute recital competition organized by Sahara Welfare Foundation. Kritika Sen, Ishita, Zainab Siddiqui, Mallika Bulutia, Nikita Agarwal, Shrestha Agrahari, Vishwas Patel, Mansi Srivastava and Kriti won prizes in Essay and Drawing Competitions organized by U.P. Fire Services. Abhijit Kumar won the second runners up prize in the quiz competition organized by CMS Films and Radio Division. |

| Twinkle Chawla and Kritika Sen were adjudged as the Best Team in Frank Anthony Memorial All India Inter School Debate (category I, stage I) organized by Hoerner College, Lucknow. Twinkle was also declared the Best Speaker for the same. Pranjay Kumar and Ishita Sinha won the first prize at Talent Hunt organized by Lucknow Little Star. Aditi Agarwal won the first prize in Speech Contest organized by Sahara India Media on 'World Environment Day.' Mayank Juneja, Rahul Trivedi and Chandralekha Banerji came second in Maths Quiz, Half a Minute and Spellathon at 9th Macfair International 2010 organised by CMS Mahanagar Campus II. |

Anishka Chaudhary was the first runner up in ASISC Zonal Debate organised by St. Teresa's Day School. |

| At the inter-school music competition 'Sonata 2010' organized by Shri Ramswaroop Memorial Public School, the first prize in solo singing was won by Aman Srivastava. Himanshi Tiwari, Poorva Bhatt and Stuti Mohan won the first prize respectively in slogan writing, collage making and poster making contest organized by Northern Railway Scouts and Guides, Lucknow District. Mayank Juneja and Abhieraja Shahi were adjudged as the Best Speakers for and against the motion at debate contest held at Cofas International 2010 organised by CMS Station Road Campus. Abhijeet Krishna and Abhinav Shukla were second in Brainz event. |

| Lets get computer savvy |

Students of Pre Primary section won first prizes in aerobics, folk dance, percussion, play and paper magic at Kids Bonanza organized by CMS Station Road Campus. Anupam Tiwari was awarded Cultural Talent Search Scholarship 2010 by the Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India for pursuing Hindustani classical music (flute). The amount of scholarship is Rs. 12,600/- per annum till 20 years of age or first graduation degree, whichever is earlier. Pranav Prakash Tiwari was awarded same scholarship for Hindustani classical music (violin). |

| Manas Sharma secured first rank in school, fifth rank in city and 95th in state at the National Cyber Olympiad organized by Science Olympiad Foundation, New Delhi. Madhulika Banerji and Nimisha Priyadarshi won the first and third prize respectively in calligraphy and Parisha Singh won the third prize in poster making competition at International Youth Fest organized by CMS Rajajipuram Campus I. |

| A time for work and a time for play |

Ayushi Mishra, Amulya Singh, Ayesha Zameer, Akansha Singh, Drishti Saraswat and Ishita Shukla won the third prize in Celesta International 2010 organized by CMS Aliganj Campus I. Anmol Mishra, Neel Lohit Pandey, Aratrika Ahuja and Arunima won the second prize in zero carbonicity contest at Eureka International 2010 organized by CMS Anand Nagar Campus. Arpit Pathak won the first prize in painting, Class IV students won the consolation prize in group elocution (primary) and junior students won the first prize in group elocution (juniors) at Human Rights Day organized by CMS Aliganj Campus II.
CMS Gomti Nagar led in many CISV camps and International School-to-School Experience (ISSE) exchange programmes in this session. The aim of these camps is to help enhance the participants' understanding and instil in them tolerance for other cultures as well as to broaden their horizons at the international level. A fifteen member delegation was sent to Mexico as a part of the ISSE. The delegation was led by Mrs J. Kaul, Mrs Aditi Sharma and Ms Priyanka Bharadwaj and comprised the student members, Vikas Mishra, Raghav Tripathi, Gauri S. Sharma, Megha Singh, Avijit Singh, Lakshya Sharma, Komal Gandhi, Divyanshu Singh and Tushar Verma. The Branch also played host to a delegation from Mexico under the same exchange programme from 3 March to 9 April 2010.
Three CISV delegations comprising four students and a teacher each participated in the month-long CISV camps organised in different parts of the world. Delegation to CISV camp in the Netherlands comprised student members, Arunima Chaudhary, Pranjay Kumar, Apeksha Yadav, Swapnil Dixit and their leader Ms Lavisha Panjwani. Delegation to CISV camp in Norway had students, Siddharth Mahendra, Apoorva Gupta, Ananya Sharma and Chitrangad Singh led by their teacher Ms Rini Bhattacharya while the delegation to the month-long CISV camp in France had Siddhant Vinayak, Anshul Mishra, Darshika Singh and Anushka Singh as student members and Dr Shiksha Tripathi as the team leader.
The 11th Commonwealth Day celebrations were observed by the Branch on 20 March 2010. On this occasion, a Youth Conference and Poster Making Competition was organized on the theme 'Science, Technology and Society.' The event was marked by a grand cultural evening and an exhibition of colourful posters received from the students of prestigious schools and colleges. At this event Aditi Kovid won the first prize and Srijan Aditya secured second position. Ritika Singh and Saloni Arora won a consolation prize in the senior category. In the junior category, Nimisha Priyadarshi won a consolation prize.
International Young Mathematicians' Convention, IYMC 2010 was organized by the Branch from 2 to 5 December 2010. As many as 13 countries participated in it and proved their mathematical abilities. Students of the Branch who won different medals in individual and team contests at IYMC 2010 were: Abhijeet Krishna, Akshat Srivastava, Abhinav Shukla, Anant Singhal, Rahul Trivedi, Tushar Anand, Abhijeet Krishna, Anant Singhal, Siddharth Tripathi, Akash Gupta and Nandita Khaitan. |

Throughout the year many championships and medals were won. Pushkar Aditya Singh won a trophy and many certificates in the All India Talent series Tennis Championship organized by the SDS Tennis Academy, under the auspices of UP Tennis Association. Devang Singhal won a silver medal in the karate competition organised by the District Karate Association. |
