Achievements in Session 2010 - 2011
 
Glorious Achievements
CMS Anand Nagar Campus, was established in 1969 and is being managed and groomed under the dynamic leadership of the Principal Mrs. Abha Anant. The campus has pre-primary, primary and junior wings comprising classes playgroup to VIII. The campus believes in academic excellence and perfection in all activities. Its unique features are its emphasis on development of children's talents in academics, music, games and sports. About 822 students are imparted spiritual and value based education by their self-sacrificing teachers through innovations.

The campus is well furnished with air-conditioned library, computer lab, spacious classrooms, music room, swimming pool and pre-primary activity room. CMS Anand Nagar is the proud organizer of a mega event Eureka International which attracts students from India and all over the world to participate in various contests.
 
Academic Achievements
No stones were left unturned by CMS Anand Nagar Campus to march ahead on the line of excellence and attain the goal it set for itself. Teachers' team of the Branch led by the Principal, Mrs Abha Anant was awarded fellowship at International Educators' Forum, Ed Leadership 2010 organized by CMS Quality Assurance and Innovations Department. The fellowship study is to be based on finding of reformative and remedial measures for truant children in daily classrooms. The work has been undertaken at the Branch during the session 2010-2011.
 
Co-curricular Achievements

The talented students of the Branch proved their mettle by participating and winning prizes in various competitions throughout the year at all levels. Srishti Pal of Class VII A surpassed all by being selected as the Horlicks WizKids 2010 in juniors category. She is the only child who will represent Lucknow in the final round to be held in Bengaluru. Shivdutta and Aryan Dwivedi of Class VI A bagged the first and second prize in story writing competition respectively. Shafaq of Class VIII B won the second prize in Little Chef at inter-school level. In Bal Utsav 2010, Astha Tandon of Class V A bagged four first prizes in Sulekh, letter writing, solo singing and greeting card making competition. Konkana Das of III B and Pranjalee Das of VII A also won prizes in fancy dress, solo dance and story writing.

Arushi Chopra won the first prize in 'Power of Pen,' the inter-branch creative writing contest organized by CMS Editorial Department. Pranay Pandey and Samarth Srivastava, the duo from Kindergarten B won the first prize in quiz while Sukrit Remansh from Nursery won the third prize in paper tearing. R.P. Subhiksha of Class Montessori won the consolation prize in fancy dress competition and Arpit Pandey of same class won the second prize in clay modelling.

Akshat Lal of Class V A qualified the International Science and Mathematics Olympiad organized by Science Olympiad Foundation, New Delhi. He was honoured at the award ceremony in Indore. Animekh Pandey of V A won the third prize in Abacus contest at city level.
Note of reverence at the all religion prayer
Neil Poddar, Sangay La Dukpa, Akshat Lal, Saurabh Anand, Meenakshi Verma, Ketaki Rabhav, Navneet Sachan, Shashank Tripathi, Saurabh, Harshvardhan, Ayush Yadav, Alankrit Verma, Allen Mahish, Satvik Sharma, Animekh Pandey, D. Mritunjay Reddy and Ayush Singh Rathore were awarded certificates of merit for their performance in English, mathematics and computer science at Assessment for India Schools Contest by University of New South Wales, Australia.
Pranjalee Das won the first prize in classical dance, Mohd. Aryan won the third prize in solo classical singing and consolation prize in solo singing (filmi) while Astha tandon won the third prize in solo singing (non-filmi) competition at different events.
The 4-day International Cultural and Literary Extravaganza, 8th Eureka International 2010 was organized by the Branch from 25 to 28 November 2010. About 800 students from England, South Africa, Bhutan, Philippines, Thailand, Korea, Russia, Iran, Nepal, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Qatar and various parts of India exhibited their creative and intellectual talents through various exciting contests. The theme for Eureka International this year was 'Living Green: At peace with Environment.'
Dramatic talents at Odyssey International
The idea behind the theme was to educate the young ones about the importance of environment in an interesting way so that they may in turn be able to educate the whole world and teach them that a little can be done by every individual to make a mammoth difference . The event included a package of exciting competitions.
Magnificent view for World Peace Prayer Ceremony
The theme of the 2-day CISV mini camp was 'Friends Forever.' The camp was organized by for Classes III to VIII with a view to instill a feeling of universal oneness amongst children living as people of different countries and to make them learn to appreciate the differences in cultures. On the day of National Presentation, the New Parents Evening was organized wherein all the newly admitted children along with parents were welcomed to be a part of the CMS Anand Nagar family.
Every year, a delegation of four students of age 10-12 years is sent to attend Children's International Summer Village (CISV) camp to some foreign location to help them develop broader vision of world unity. This year too a delegation comprising, Pranjalee Das, Gaurav Deshmukh, Ajeet Yadav and Mrityunjay Singh went to attend the month-long international camp at Ohio, USA.

Magnificent view for World Peace Prayer Ceremony
The delegation was led by music teacher, Mr Ashish John Benjamin. Another delegation comprising four students, Avinash Kanaujia, Vaishnavi Gautam, Kaitkee Raghav and Shrishti Pal attended a month long Children's International Summer Village camp, held in Lucknow. They represented India with their team leader Ms. Richa Bhatt.
Ms Aanchal Jaitly, teacher of the Campus took up the challenging task of being the Director of International CISV Camp organized by Lucknow Chapter of CISV. She successfully directed 'Hop, Step and Jump' village during December 2009 to January 2010.

Open Day, the day of fun and enjoyment for the little ones comprising of art and craft exhibition was organized with great success. The art and craft exhibition put up on the occasion depicted the creative talents and skills of students of pre-primary and primary section with an aim to make the parents witness how their wards are being trained under the care and guidance of their teachers with the help of latest teaching aids and technologies. Triumph the unique celebration by the students of pre-primary and classes I and II to mark the passing out of Kindergarten class and their graduation to primary level with a very special convocation ceremony was also organized. This graduation is done in the traditional graduation attire. All the students who show remarkable improvement are awarded the 'Good Effort' and 'Good Work' certificates. Brilliance is awarded with the 'Brilliant Star' certificates. Annual Parents and Grandparents Day was organized for parents and grandparents. On this day the grandparents were specially honoured. They were given hand-made cards and flowers by children and a song was dedicated to them. 'Hindustan Hamari Shan' dance was presented by the students of the Campus at Republic Day parade. Students' performance was highly appreciated by all. The dance symbolized that beneath India's various diversities lies a strong force of unity which makes every Indian have pride in its culture, customs and varied lifestyles.
 
Sports Achievements
Abhijeet Bhardwaj of Class VIII won silver medal in the 2nd U.P. State School Taekwondo Championship 2010 organized by Taekwondo Federation of India. Sampada Talwar won gold and silver medal in 1500m and 800m respectively in girls' category and Piyush Singh Gujiyal of Class VIII won silver medal in 1500m in boys' category in inter-branch Athletic Meet-2010. These two students along with footballers Aman Mishra, Mohit Dixit, Piyush Singh and Saurabh Anand were selected to represent the Campus at International Sports Olympiad Exspo 2010 organised by CMS RDSO Campus. Saurabh Anand bagged bronze medal in Exspo 2010.
