Like previous years, the tradition of continuous improvement in academic performance of the students continued during the session 2004-2005 and the students of the Branch passed each examination with good marks.
The high standard of education imparted at the Branch was clearly depicted through the eloquent speakers in the morning prayer assemblies and model class presentations. |
Sagarika Srivastava won the first prize in singing competition organised by Rang Tarang. Chitranshi Singh, Aman Mishra, Aishwarya Mishra, Ayushi Mishra and Arti Rajpoot won first prizes in drawing competition organised by SBI Life Insurance Co. Ltd. Amongst the various competitions organised for CMS students by the CMS Editorial and World Unity and Peace Education Departments on the occasion of the 8th Session of Provision World Parliament, Varija Raj won the first prize in creative writing while Insha Naureen and Himani Bhatt won prizes in slogan writing and greeting card design contest respectively.
While the Branch team won first prize in group dance contest, Sagarika Srivastava won the first consolation prize for solo singing contest organised by Youth Hostel Association. Shashwat P. Shah, Rishabh Chauhan and Prabanjhan Shukla won first three prizes at a Chess tournament organised for junior classes. While the juniors' team won the second prize in group dance competition organised by Blue Heaven Cultural Society, primary students' team came home with the third prize. Akansha, Pallavi Srivastava, Neha Sharma, Indushree, Himani Bhatt and Radhika Pandey won different prizes in the English and Hindi handwriting competitions.
Sagarika Srivastava and Bhavya Gupta won first prizes in solo singing and solo dance competitions organised by Rotary Club, Vasundhara, and Saloni Verma won second prize in solo dance. Another team brought glory to the Branch when it came home with the second prize in Indian folk dance competition organised by Rotary Club.
Anandita Trivedi, Uzma and Ashutosh Shukla won the first, second and third prize respectively in the Anchor Quick Stitch Competition. Sagarika Srivastava won another first prize in the solo singing competition organised by Sa Re Ga Ma.

The Human Rights Day celebrations were organised by the Branch to mark the UN Human Rights Day on 19 December 2004. Various contests based on human and fundamental rights were held on the occasion. These included, debate, painting, collage and creative writing. Students from different CMS branches expressed their ideas on Human Rights through their participation in these contests and showed the world how world citizens with humane outlook are being moulded at CMS.
