Mrs Jyoti Kashyap became Principal, CMS Aliganj Campus I in 2011.
She was earlier Principal, CMS Mahanagar Campus II.

"Music and poetry here do unite spreading peace, happiness and light."

Mrs Jyoti Kashyap, as her name goes, is the flame that ignites the desire of knowledge in the heart of every child. Earlier Principal of CMS Mahanagar II, this year she took over the charge as Senior Principal, CMS Aliganj I. Gifted with a noble and serene nature, she instills the same in the children. Mrs Kashyap believes in taking the bull by the horns and receives the challenges in life with a brave smile. Her courage and determination help her to sail through all difficulties and emerge the ultimate winner. In her enlightened guidance, the students of CMS Aliganj I are doing wonders in studies, co-curricular activities and sports. The Campus is well known for its high standard of computer education and for the International Festival of Music and Dance 'Celesta' which it organizes every alternate year. We hope that in Mrs Kashyap's leadership, many new milestones will be added.

CMS Aliganj Campus I is dedicated to the pursuit of excellence. We always strive to make the academic progress of each child a hallmark and above all be committed to create future world citizens with traditional values and high aspirations.

We try to foster in our students the feeling of co-existence and mutual respect. The growth of our society and the progress of the world are dependent on the nurturing of the children. We have taken up the responsibility of cultivating the tender minds so that each child grows up to be a special individual in society.

In the words of Thomas Carlyle: "Nothing builds self confidence and self esteem like accomplishments and achievements that have been made."

This year, our students did us proud by scoring very high marks in ISC and ICSE Board Examination. 135 students of our campus scored 90% and above marks in the ICSE & ISC Examinations, 2011. Many of our students qualified for various engineering, medical and other professional courses.

I take this opportunity to mention the efforts put in by our campus to provide students with global exposure by organizing "Celesta International" – an international level cultural festival. We are fortunate to have an infrastructure that caters to all our needs. Our teachers acts as facilitators who help the children imbibe academic knowledge along with spiritual and moral values. I would like to thank the luminaries, our Founders, Dr Jagdish Gandhi and Dr Bharti Gandhi and the Head of Quality Assurance and Innovations Department (QAID), Mrs Susmita Basu for the their unflinching support. I would also like to thank the parents for their trust, the teachers for their dedication and all my dear students for progressing by leaps and bounds.

Mrs Gauri Khanna, Principal, CMS Aliganj Campus I (Retired 2011)

The saga of City Montessori School continues to add new dimensions to its glorious achievements. CMS is a school with a mission. Each branch of CMS is constantly trying to improve itself by bringing up innovative ideas in the fields of academics, sports and cultural activities.

We, at CMS Aliganj Campus I, are trying to provide an environment to our children which will make them not only “Good and Smart" but also ensure that they grow up to become citizens of the World who are first and foremost, good human beings. Our endeavours are directed towards providing them with the best of education in all spheres – academic, spiritual and moral. We are fortunate to have an infrastructure that caters to all our needs. We have a strong team which is extremely dedicated and highly qualified. The teachers act as facilitators who help the children to imbibe knowledge from their environment and are more of guides, friends and family members to the students.

Our branch, in its efforts to provide students with global exposure, organizes 'Celesta International’ – an international level cultural festival. This year we bagged the 'Overall Championship Trophy of Celesta 2010' but being the host team, we handed over the trophy to the runners up team.

As we climb higher on the steps of success, we bow before the Almighty never to lose sight of the goal which we have set before us to achieve. I would like to thank the Almighty and the Management for giving their unquestioning support in whatever we do.
