Inspired by the values
instilled by their education, CMS students arise to render important
service in their local and national communities.
They have founded Eco Clubs,
hosted environmental seminars, organized tree plantings and clean up
projects, and lobbied state legislature for water pollution control.
In recognition of their
outstanding service and environmental activitism, the Commissioner
Lucknow division appointed CMS students for monitoring and
enforcement of the local air pollution guidelines regarding tempo
vehicle emissions.
In addition to working to
protect the environment, our students strive to render any service
possible to their fellow human beings.
Through the facilitation of
DEVI Sansthan - standing for Dignity, Education, Vision,
International, a non profit NGO dedicated to empowering rural/ urban
poor and women, CMS students have participated in one-on-one village
literacy programmes and worked side by side with village residents
to build roads.
CMS students recently
expanded their service projects to include fund raising for the
India Cancer Society.
