The responsibility of developing children's character and stimulating the intellect belongs not only to the School but to the community as a whole. The School and the home must coordinate, communicate, plan and help each other in creating a conducive environment at home and school, to enthuse and motivate children to become good and smart.
Teacher - Guardians:
In a highly effective Teacher-Guardianship programme, CMS teachers act as parent-surrogate to the students. They liaise between home and school to help children solve their academic, non-academic and even personal problems through individual counseling and home visits. In this mentorship programme, it has been found that children gain enormous confidence and their complete personality is enhanced.
Home-visits by Teacher-Guardians: In order to bridge the gap between school and home, CMS teachers regularly visit the homes of students to consult and advise the parents. A number of informative quizzes, brochures and folders are distributed for the benefit of the CMS parents. Parents are asked to study these and to participate in an on-going learning process in the effective upbringing and education of their children in collaboration with the School. |
