CMS has been instrumental in introducing Computer Science Education since 1984 across its branches in a phased manner. Currently there are more than 4000 computers in its 20 branches. The school has historically initiated several technology enhanced programmes with learning at their core.
As the world is changing around us, there is further need to empower our students with all the benefits that updated technology can provide to make them ready for the future. The school is initiating various exciting projects as follows
- Advanced Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System which comprises all school processes such as student attendance, report-card, staff leave, inventory management and bus transport.
- Imparting education using Interactive Whiteboard Technology which enlivens subject teaching.
- CMS has introduced a brand new division for all its E-learning programmes which will be managed by Mrs Surabhi Srivastava, within the CMS Computer and Films Division which is headed by Mr Varghese Kurian, Head of IT and Multimedia. All the support to these projects will be provided by Mrs Surabhi Srivastava who is leading E-Learning and has joined the CMS team recently.
The first project for this team is the launch of an innovative digital learning tool to enhance interactive class room learning using the EyeRIS (Eye-like Rapid Imaging System). This is a ground-breaking, feature - rich and portable interactive whiteboard system developed and manufactured in Germany by Cybernetyx.
These interactive whiteboards were launched on 10th May 2012 at our Kanpur Road Campus by Honourable Chief Minister, Mr Akhilesh Yadav.
Further information on this and upcoming E-learning initiative will be updated here soon.
