Address by
Hon’ble Mr Sukhdev Rajbhar
Speaker, Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly, India

Hon'ble former Chief Justice of India, Hon'ble Chief Justices and Judges and senior advocates from various countries of the world. I extend a hearty welcome to you and congratulate the management of City Montessori School, Lucknow for organizing the International Conference on significance of Article 51 of the Constitution of India that enlightens us about world peace and Unity in today’s chaotic world. The present world scenario demands the enforcement of international law and order and safeguard of human rights of men, women and children. Terrorism has gripped society and this problem can only be solved by the instruments of unity and peace not by the use of force and arms.

I am grateful to all the CMS children who have raised their voice against injustice and inequality in the world. Their appeal for a united world comes straight from the heart and is aimed at creating a peaceful world environment to safeguard the future of all the children of the world. In all my writings I have stressed the fact that the children are the representatives of God on earth. When a child is born both his arms are clasped together and when they unfold there is peace in one hand and love in the other. Children’s voices are innocent, natural and spontaneous, they cannot be curbed. The harmonious atmosphere in which this international Conference is organized and the values of world unity and world peace being imparted by the CMS founder Director Dr. (Mrs) Bharti Gandhi are ample proof of the high quality of education being imparted to CMS Students

Since times immemorial children have been considered gifts of God to mankind. Their voices cannot be silenced. The great king Hiranya Kashyap tried to stop Prahlad from raising his voice in favour of righteousness but he was rendered helpless. In the same way, the child Krishna put an end to the demoness Putna when she came to poison him. Lord Krishna opened his mouth and his mother Yashoda saw the whole universe revolving inside his mouth. Lord Ram also put an end to several demons while he was still a teenager. In the same way, Swami Vivekanand, Mahatma Buddha, Mohammad Sahab and other great personalities gave signs of their spiritual greatness even in their childhood. They gave the message that peace and humanity are the greatest religion and in our country we have achieved greatness out of humility and sacrifice. Nature itself does not discriminate between people. The sun shines equally on all, rain falls equally and the cold affects all human beings equally. Children are the most beautiful creations of God and like nature, their minds are innocent and without any discrimination. I am deeply thankful towards Mr Jagdish Gandhi founder manager, CMS and Dr (Mrs) Bharti Gandhi founder Director, CMS for organizing the International Conference of Chief Justices of the world on such a relevant topic as Article 51(c) of the Constitution of India. I am happy to note that such a large number of Chief Justices, Judges of Supreme Court and other legal luminaries are participating in the Conference.

We are endowed with the powerful instruments of peace and harmony, we must develop the natural talents and keep alive the innocence of little children by filling them with love and affection. By sacrifice of our material needs and self determination, we can bring about peace and harmony treading on the path of the Divine educators of mankind. By gentleness, persuasion and consultation we can change the world and destroy the evil forces as the great policy maker Chankya rightly said that gentleness and persuasion are potent weapons. This Conference will go a long way in arousing love and unity in young hearts. I fully support this great campaign for world Unity, peace and progress of mankind and wish the Conference a great success.
