APPEAL TO WORLD JUDICIARY TO 'SAFEGUARD THEIR
FUTURE'
Issued
on behalf of world’s two billion children
by the 30,000 students of City Montessori School,
Lucknow, (India), Guinness World Record holder
& Recipient of UNESCO Prize for Peace Education
2002 and Nuclear-Free Future Special Achievement
Award 2004, and to be presented before the Hon’ble
World Judiciary at the 5th International Conference
of Chief Justices of the World from 9th to 13th
December 2005...

The
State shall endeavour to —
(a) promote international peace and security;
(b) maintain just and honourable relations between
nations;
(c) foster respect for international law and
(c) encourage settlement of international disputes
by arbitration.
Clause (c) of the above article refers to "fostering
respect for international law" but today
there is no legally constituted World Parliament
for enacting international laws which would
be enforceable on all the countries and peoples
of the world....

WHY A SCHOOL |

| In
pursuance of its belief that “School must
be a Lighthouse of Society,” the City Montessori
School (CMS), Lucknow led by its founder-manager
Mr Jagdish Gandhi has been leading a campaign
for ‘Enforceable International Law’
with the objective of safeguarding the future
of world’s children, born and yet-to-be-born.
For several years now, CMS and Mr Gandhi have
been strenuously striving to build global public
opinion in favour of enactment of enforceable
international laws that are equally applicable
