...SUPPORT OF
WORLD JUDICIARY CAN HELP CREATE A NEW ONE-WORLD
ORDER
Only the support of the World Judiciary can create a favourable climate for the formation of a duly constituted World Parliament empowered to enact Enforceable International laws, a World Government to implement these laws, and a World Judiciary to ensure that the laws are followed.
The very survival of life on our planet is under threat. Whether the unification of humankind will happen after unimaginable horrors precipitated by humanity’s stubborn clinging to the old patterns of behaviour, or is to be embraced now by an act of consultative will is a choice before all. |

MEANINGFUL EDUCATION IS A POWERFUL INSTRUMENT
OF TRANSFORMATION
Danger of a nuclear world war is looming large above our heads. Low intensity civil wars in various parts of the world, ever increasing international terrorism, environmental degradation and economic exploitation by advanced countries are affecting individual lives on all continents. On the one hand, huge resources are being squandered on research, development and manufacture of advanced arms and ammunitions of mass destruction, and on the other hand, a major part of humanity is living in want and hunger, poverty, disease and in insanitary conditions and misery. Children remain without shelter.
They have no access to proper clothing, food and education. They are constantly abused and forced to work as labourers and soldiers in armed conflicts. All this needs to be changed.

EDUCATION MUST ALSO
ACT AS A POWERFUL INSTRUMENT OF SOCIAL TRANSFORMATION
CMS believes that at a certain moment in history, education must also act as a powerful instrument of profound social transformation. And such a moment has come. CMS believes that a modern school must act as a 'Lighthouse of Society' providing meaningful education, spiritual direction and leadership to students, as also spiritual direction and leadership to parents and the society and that education must concern itself with the affairs of the age and endeavour to bring about profound social transformation. CMS believes that in the situation prevailing in the world a situation has arisen when educational institutions must asserts themselves. Therefore, CMS has been striving in this direction. Since children are common denominator because every person loves his/her child, it is their duty also to work for a profound social transformation so that the future of the world's over two billion children may be made safe, happy and prosperous. CMS seeks cooperation from every one to join in its children’s efforts to create worldwide awareness for international peace and security which is possible through regulations of international behaviour, that is, enforceable international laws made by a duly constituted World Parliament and enforced by a world executive, that is, a World Government. |

| PLIGHT OF CHILDREN - A CALL FOR SUPPORT |
| Children are the common denominator. For parents their child is the most precious possession in the world. No parent can ever bear the thought of any harm coming to their child. Yet, the UN data about the world’s children show many staggering facts: |
| • |
40,000 children under the age of five
die each day from malnutrition and preventable diseases.
|
| • |
Each year, at least 250,000 young children lose
their sight for lack of a small amount of vitamin
A in their diet. |
| • |
In the past ten years, 2 million children died
in war, between four and 5 million are handicapped,
12 million have become homeless and one million
have lost their parents or are separated from them.
Over 300,000 children have been exploited as soldiers,
bearers and mine-workers. Twenty-five million children
have fled their homes. |
| • |
Over half a million mothers die annually during
pregnancy and childbirth. |
| • |
Over 100 million children throughout the world
are forced to work under hazardous and often fatal
conditions. |
| • |
More than one billion people — the majority
of them children — either have no houses or
live with inadequate housing. |
| • |
There are more than 10 million child-refugees
around the world, comprising 60% to 70% of the refugee
population. Malnutrition, chronic infectious diseases,
physical and mental retardation are widespread in
refugee camps. Many children, often separated from
their parents, have spent their whole lives in closed
refugee camps, encircled by gun towers and barbed
wire. |
| • |
Approximately 150 million children spend their
days on the streets. Of them, 60 million are street
children whose only home is the street. The youngest
street children are only 5 or 6 years old. |
| • |
Nearly 100 million children of the primary school
age are not taking part in any education programmes. |
| • |
113 million children never even begin school. |
| Imagine
the plight of these children! What can be done?
By whom? |
| • |
The security of the world’s two billion
children and generations yet-to-be-born is threatened
by ecological disaster, international terrorism
and nuclear war. These are truly global threats
and no one, in any corner of the world, is safe
or secure from these threats. |
| • |
The politicians of the world are busy with national
affairs and not with the needs and affairs of this
age which are international by nature. Who is going
to safeguard the future of the world’s 2 billion
children? |
| • |
We at CMS believe that education must concern
itself with the affairs of this age. This is why
the children of CMS, the world’s largest school,
feel that it is their responsibility to raise this
issue before the parents and guardians of the world. |
| • |
It is time for all the parents and guardians of
the world’s children to not only be conscious
of these threats but also to unite as one and come
together to safeguard their children’s right
to a secure and safe world and a healthy ecology.
|
| • |
On behalf of the world’s two billion children
and generations yet-un-born, the City Montessori
School (CMS) invites all the parents and guardians
of the world to arise, awake and unite and demonstrate
their support for the CMS students’ call to
the world judiciary —the last hope of humanity’s
survival— and to help create a world safe
for children. |
