Concept Note

The 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs or the Global Goals), inspire action to end all forms of poverty, fight inequalities, and tackle climate change, all the while ensuring that no one is left behind. The idea of Global Citizenship - that the actions we take here can affect lives all over the world, is a compelling lesson for the classroom. Engaging students on global issues, and especially taking action locally, can spark exciting projects and build global awareness in students, developing compassion for the world around them, and discovering the power of taking action. We as a school represent the interests of the children and host this annual conference to bring the world’s senior judiciary and academia together to contribute its ideas and solutions for making the world more secure for the future.

Convenor of the Conference:
Dr Jagdish Gandhi,
Founder, City Montessori School, Lucknow, India -
World's Largest School as per the Guinness Book with over 59,000 students;
Laureate of Unesco Prize for Peace Education;
City Montessori School Society is associated with United Nations Department of Public Information (DPI).
