AMBASSADOR OF THE REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA

It is pleasing to note that City Montessori School, Lucknow is organizing lnternational Conference on 'World Peace and Article 51 of the Constitution of India'. The present issue takan by the Institute shows it's in-depth concern for the international peace, friendship, and security, which is of high concern in today's life.

Today success of science and technology must be supported by the development of innovative culture and courage to take risks responsibly with the awareness of the need to make positive changes at anytime. The present stock-pile of nuclear weapons, is much more sufficient to annihilate the entire population on this planet, this has to be checked. Much more concrete steps are needed, to destroy them and put a total ban, if we have to save mankind and the world.

It is better to light a candle than to curse the darkness. The idea behind this international conference is to create world full of peace and happiness, progress and prosperity, equality and justice, freedom, and joy. Let us say 'no' to wers. let us work together for a peaceful world. Let us give a new vision, a new direction to others to bring peace and security to the world, in this way we can fulfill the main objective of Article 51 of Indian constitution.

I wish this august Intenational Conference & great success.

Dear Mr. Gandhi

Re : First International Conference on Article 51 of the Constitution of India

I wish to congratulate you and those involved in organising the First International Conference on Article 51 of the Constitution of India.

The Conference, which was an outstanding success, was organised with the sole aim of arousing world opinion about the urgent need to establish a world parliament for world peace.

As realists and pragmatic people we know that this is a mammoth task. However, we have the deep conviction that what appears to be elusive and impossible now will one day be materialised. It will materialise because we will not sit back and relax.

I think we have set in motion this world awareness for world peace which can only be achieved when we have a set of laws which we can aptly call International Law. Those sets of Intenational Laws can only be passed by a world parliament a world body - representing all countries of the world.

You have laid the foundation stone. We will have to build upon it. We cannot fail the children of the world. We owe it to them to live in a safe world better than what was bvequesthed to us.

I promised you on my departure from Lucknow that we will work ceaselessly towards that end. In my modes capacity I will try to do all that I can to support the noble mission which you have embarked upon.

Kind regards.

Yours sincerely

C. Alleear
Chief Justice

Dear Mr. Gandhi,

I returned home yesterday evening after spending some of the most memorable moments of my life with you and the members of the staff and the children of your wonderful schools. It was revelation to discover how you and Mrs. Gandhi were running these institutions and doing so much for world peace and the establishment of a World Assembly and at the same time imparting such quality education. May God grant you both, greater energy and strength to carry on these great projects.

With every good wish and a thousand thanks

I remain

Yours sincerely
