In order to
safeguard the future of world's children, we, the
participants of the
1st
International Conference on
World Peace
and Article 51 of the Constitution of India
from
Australia, Bangladesh, Mauritius, Nepal, Pakistan,
Seychelles, Sri Lanka, UK and India
unanimously
decide to adopt
The
Lucknow Declaration
accepting the
appeal by over 24,000 students of City Montessori
School, Lucknow
on behalf of
born and yet-to-be-born
Children of
the World
in which the
children have requested the
Judiciary of
all the countries of the World
to support
their call for a legally constituted
World
Parliament
for enacting
enforceable International Law
which must be
binding on all the countries and peoples of the
world, so that a
New
International Political and Economic Order
may emerge
and the future of world's children safeguarded
from a
nuclear holocaust and eco-disaster.
